If you're having to crush pills for a loved one this is the only way to go! Having to crush 36 pills per day I wouldn't have ever gotten done without this! It's definitely worth the money and I see why nursing/rehabilitation homes have them. It's easy to use and crushes to whatever consistency you need! Worked great for me and also kept my Dad's g-tube from getting clogged.
Pricey but excellent product that is so worth it. I had purchased cheaper ones from other brands, but ended up getting this one and couldn't be happier. If you're considering whether to buy this or not, please just get it!
When my husband came home from hospital with a G-tube I initially bought one of the cheaper plastic crushers, that worked great until I came to crush antibiotics. I decided to throw in the towel and buy this professional crusher. It works well and in hindsight I should have invested in this one from the get-go.
Best thing ever!!! Takes forever to individually crush pills. So worth the money!! I wish we knew about it sooner.
Game changer.
Great price, thank you.
If you have a need to crush pills, this unit makes quick work of the job without the need for the high grip and twist strength that every other crusher we have ever used requires. It is pricey, but it is quick and efficient without the cramps and pain in my hands. We have had to crush pills to administer via a feeding tube for 25 years.
I can't swallow pills and this is well worth the money. Crushed to powder.
As a nurse who has used this very product on the med cart to administer many meds — it's exactly as expected. Purchased for my mother to use for my father who has swallow issues. Works great to crush pills (including multiple at a time). Absolutely recommended over the screw/twist crushers. Plus, no device to clean — just use the pill pouches which allow for easy powder pour into a small med cup after crushing.
Loved, loved, love it. It made crushing pills so easy. We have to crush a few pills together and with a regular manual crusher it would take forever. With this it crushes very fast. Made my life easier. Looks very sturdy.
Very good machine. Hospital staff uses them. Donated this machine after we no longer had use for it.
This was definitely worth the money. So much easier than the screw type crushers. Makes med time go quickly. Thank you!
Bought this for my father and he loves it. He has a feeding tube and this crushes up his pills to a powder, then mixes them with water and gives the medication in his feeding tube.
We tried some electric crushers that did not work. My mom takes very large pills and they need to be crushed finely. I slightly move the bag of pills and push a few times, and this works. We also tried a silver hammer-looking crusher that did nothing! If you're wondering at all, buy this. It was pricey, but worth the money.
This is a great pill crusher. My husband is on a feeding tube and this is the one used in the hospital. The best!!!
I have a 5 y.o. son who is autistic and also has ADHD, so that comes with a few medications he absolutely needs. We'd been using a hand-crank crusher and noticed the build-up of medicine powder would actually mold if not cleaned daily. This Silent Knight turns full pills into a complete powder in seconds — sanitary and clean. The bags are sturdy and thick and we've not had one puncture yet. Highly recommend; buying a second for the school nurse.
Works exactly as expected. I read reviews about the powder not being fine enough. As an RN, I know the hard shell coating of many pills will break off during crushing. That's not a flaw of the crusher — it's how the pill is made. If it's a problem for a feeding tube, you must sort out the shell prior to administering.
I bought this to crush the medications I need to take. The plastic ones were hard on my wrist to twist. This is easy to use and crushes pills to a fine powder that is easy to dissolve. They used this when I was in the hospital, so I ordered one for myself when I got home.
When my mom ended up needing a G-tube, I tried several different products to crush her pills but never could get them fully crushed to go through the tube. I saw the nurses in the hospital use this and how well it crushed the pills, so I decided to buy one for home.
If you need to crush pills every day, this is the device you need. I used a drugstore pill crusher one day and ordered this one. I had 10 pills crushed so fast compared to using a small handheld pill crusher.
I purchased the Silent Knight pill crusher for my mom, and it has been a total success! It works perfectly to crush pills into a fine powder, making it so much easier for people who can't swallow capsules or tablets. The design is sturdy, easy to use, and incredibly efficient. A game-changer for my mom's daily routine.
My husband is taking medications that must be crushed. My achy joints protested each time I used the twist-style crusher. The home health nurse said 'Get a Silent Knight.' I immediately ordered one. I LOVE THIS DEVICE! No more achy hands, no more pills that don't crush well. Worth every penny.
Illness has had me eating and medicating through tube feedings, and meds have had to be crushed. The Silent Knight has been a grace-saver for about 2 years. It was the best investment in helping me cope with my illnesses. I highly recommend it.
Exactly as described. Arrived quickly. Heavy duty, needed for crushing pills to powder for g-tube medication. This is the same one the local hospital uses. Also came with bags to use for crushing. Crushes perfectly without requiring a lot of muscle strength. I recommend this product and seller.
I'm a nurse who's used this product in healthcare settings, but also ordered one for personal use with a disabled adult in the home who cannot swallow pills. Grinds most pills down to fine powder — we grind 5 at a time. If you crush pills regularly these are worth every penny. At home we can use the bags twice before they wear out. Must buy!
We use this at a vet center to crush meds and mix them into liquid. Metronidazole is by far the worst medication we work with because of the coating. This machine makes it so much easier. Wish I'd bought this a year ago.
Promotes a quiet environment in long-term care settings. Crushes medication effectively.
Works well. Bought in 2025 for $99. How did it go up $35 in a year? Crazy! Still a great machine.
I need to crush 20 pills a day. This makes my life so much easier. Can't give it 5 stars because it isn't perfect — pill residue gets stuck in the bottom of the bags and it's a bit of effort to get it all out. Still the best thing I have found.
Easy to use, nice design and appearance. It works well but is a bit cumbersome to clean. Fortunately, you don't have to clean often as long as you don't reuse pill crusher pouches.
This crusher could probably crush pills an hour a day for a decade and not wear out — heavy, large, sturdy, commercial grade, and designed for full disassembly and cleaning. The powder sticks to the proprietary sleeve, losing about 0.4% of the medication by my scale; rinsing the sleeve recaptures nearly all of it. A serious piece of equipment for anyone crushing lots of pills regularly.
It does crush pills, but more like a vise with texture, so it crushes them but not always into a fine powder, and the jagged pieces can deform the bags. Putting the pills in the top half of the bag (multiple layers) helps protect from the texture and reduces loss to bag cling. Good if you need pills merely crushed; for a fine powder with zero loss, a mortar and pestle may suit better.
For my particular mix the SK left clumps of partial pills, and crushing the smaller ones repeatedly made holes in the baggies with product spilling out. Double-bagging and rolling the pills helped a little but used far more bags than I expected. It may work well for others, but it didn't suit my situation.
